i before e is no longer taught in schools as there are so many exceptions the rule is worthless.

I see this is becoming more of a problem as people become overly sensitive and dismiss all criticism as blind "hate". Imagine a world without critics, stress, or pressure, that would be a terrible world.
However, I agree that it if you can't spell your statements lose credibility.
